Cathleen Taubert – The Only One

     Fresh-faced Berliner Cathleen Taubert came to Nashville, TN, and recorded this video gem in 2008.    It’s a simple yet beautiful song, with Cathleen’s slightly smokey alto bringing life to the emotions.  The Only One captures a sense of loss or longing with a beautiful country backdrop.   There is very little in English about Cathleen, however, her Blogspot page translates fairly well with Google’s translator and there you will find that she has worked as a music therapist of sorts…
