If you explore the dark corners of the DIY music industry, sometimes you will discover a gem. Something really different. Something very interesting. Something wonderful. Something that breaks through the noise. Vodka’s goal is to shine a light on these lesser-known but musically gifted artists.

I’ve been at this for 10 years on the Tumblr blog, five or six years on a Blogspot blog before that, and now the new chapter beginning with the first post on January 5th, 2022 on the new website (including all of the Tumblr content). I’ve listened to music my entire life, and have always gravitated to the music that grabs me. It is often quite different from what you will find in the mainstream.

Sometimes it’s hard to keep up, but know that I am reading them all.
