Tommy Newport – Yellow Lines

Tommy Newport, combines a touch of spoken word, with a great little rock / R&B tune, layered with beats and an infectious melody on Yellow Line (seen/heard here). My only complaint with this one is that it could have lasted a bit longer than the 2 minutes and change it takes to listen. Valentines For Tomorrow explores the circular meaning of life and love, blending the good times with the bad, but reveling in them all with a person who shares all…

Oka Vanga – Beneath The Apple Tree

A simple love song that absolutely exudes happiness, Beneath The Apple Tree (seen/heard here)  by UK folk / Americana duo, Oka Vanga, is the type of song that is immediately infectious. It’s an ear-worm for sure, but one that you won’t find too painful if it sticks around for a while. In the heart of winter in the midst of a pandemic that just won’t go away, that’s the sort of beacon of hope that we all need! Oka Vanga is Angela Meyer and William Cox, whose…
