Frequent visitor to A Little More Vodka, Courtney Barnett, teams up with Hoodoo Guru’s Dave Faulkner for this fantastic cover of Died Pretty’s Everybody Moves. As always, hearing another song covered by Courtney left me wanting more, and who knows, by now, we may actually have Ms. Barnett’s new EP, How To Carve A Carrot Into A Rose, due out sometime in August. The combination of Barnett and Faulkner left me wondering if more duets are in Courtney’s future. It certainly was a bit of a departure for her, but it was truly a breath-taking one. Barnett and Faulkner are in sync throughout.

Update to the update: You can now pre-order the combined earlier EP, I’ve Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris with How To Carve A Carrot Into A Rose by purchasing The 12-song double-EP A Sea Of Split Peas, again to be completely released on October 8, 2013. There is an CD order of this one too, which would make it a great value!
