Della Mae appeared about a year ago on A Little More Vodka, with I Built This Heart. During the year, the girls have been busy, signing with Rounder Records, releasing a new full-length, This World Oft Can Be, from which Empire (above) comes, and being nominated for a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. Kudos to this great blue-grass troupe for so much deserved success!

One of the downsides of signing with a major label, though, is that you have to give up self-promotion sites such as bandcamp.com, at least for this particular listing.
