July Music Musings

Remembering Independence

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and on a decidedly non-musical note, I’d like to remind everyone that as we celebrate our Independence Day in the US, that we should remember all of those who continue to fight and die for our independence every day in the US Military.  It’s not a profession that I would choose for myself-besides I’m too old and grumpy-but it is a very honorable profession and if you are reading this and are from any branch of the military, thank you for your service.

Music blog successes

As the number of posts draws closer to the 100 mark, I’d like to thank all of you who have followed and/or liked blog entries.  It’s encouraging to know that there are so many of you out there with eclectic musical tastes.  Thanks!

Coming in August

The August queue is nearly half-full already.  There are some very interesting musical offerings coming up.  Interesting to me at least.  Keep watching and listening and please if you have anything to say, drop me a line!

Music Purchases in June

I couldn’t help myself.  I picked up nearly everything I could get my hands on from Admiral Twin, picked up Ha Ha Tonka’s Death of a Decade, and Princess Chelsea.  All were good, but Admiral Twin and Ha Ha Tonka were excellent.

Until next month.  Keep listening to music and let me know if you find something awesome!
