Paper Aeroplanes – Red Rover
The second post from Paper Aeroplanes within a month is posted because the duo has just released The EP’s-Time To Be & A Comfortable Sleep (November 2013) which is essentially a long-player (10 songs) that combines the EP’s Time To Be (2011) and A Comfortable Sleep (2012) in a single cohesive collection.
Paper Aeroplanes may still be struggling for mass appeal, but Sarah Howells and Richard Llewellyn continue to churn out accessible folk-pop that you only need to hear to fall in love with. You may remember the review for Little Letters here, or Multiple Love from almost a year ago. Sarah’s vocals are always pleasing and musically, the two create great tuneful soundscapes.
You can find more on Paper Aeroplanes by visiting their web site, and you can pick up this collection digitally for 6.99 GBP (roughly $11.34 US) or as CD with digital download for 7.99 GBP (roughly $12.96 US) or more from the band’s bandcamp.com site.
