Peridot – Fleeting

Vodka re-discovered Hillary Reynolds and Peridot back in April of last year, with a review for Tightrope. Peridot is back with a wonderful single that will leave you awe-struck. A song about how quick life is and how much we need to embrace it, Fleeting (seen/heard here) is at once beautiful and inspiring. Hillary’s vocals ring with the sincerity of strong belief, massaging the listener into willing submission instead of hitting them with a brick. Backed here by a marvelous string quartet that this song absolutely cries out for, there is nothing not to like about Fleeting, or Peridot for that matter. Fleeting is available only on streaming platforms for now. Hopefully, it will become one of many tracks on a new long-player sometime in the future.

You can find more information on Peridot by heading up to their website. They have a store link where you can pick up their self-titled, 7 track EP, which includes the previously reviewed Tightrope. I’ve always loved Hillary Reynolds, even when she was the Hillary Reynolds Band, which seems like a long time ago now. That said, I think that the new iteration of her band is even better than ever and deserves your wallet’s attention!

Pick up some Peridot music now, by picking up their EP from their store link or from Amazon. You will not be sorry!
