Back in March 2010, on another blog, I reviewed the new full-length from Chicago based The Right Now called Carry Me Home. It was an excellent collection of music with Stephanie Berecz and the band grinding out a mix of R&B and soul influenced, pop nuggets. It’s been a few years, but The Right Now continues to sound as if they’ve visited the past and brought it all to the present.  Here, He Used To Be, from the bands second long-player Gets Over You,  highlights the bands strengths, Stephanie’s all-important vocal pipes-and the best part, that the band continues to be very active in 2012.
