He’s My Brother She’s My Sister is a melting pot of styles, grabbing the best from alt-folk, alt-country, and other ‘alts’ in the middle. Here on The Same Old Ground, from the band’s October 2012 long-player Nobody Dances In This Town, there are plenty of musical examples of the above. 

There’s certainly a retro-vibe throughout Nobody Dances In This Town. There’s plenty to dance to and certainly a lot to tap your feet to. While He’s My Brother She’s My Sister dabbles in a plethora of styles, they have managed to formalize them into a cohesive formula sound that works to tie everything together.
