Big Big Train – Folklore

     Followers of Vodka will recall past posts for Big Big Train, The UK’s stellar, self-signed progressive rock troop, last year with Wassail and two years ago with Make Some Noise.  This great band has since released the long-player From Stone and Steel (April 2016) and their latest long-player, Folklore (title track seen here), is due out in late May. Big Big Train never ceases to surprise and delight, always pushing themselves to be better and better. John Bassett – Stay Away From The Dark

 John Bassett is a phenomenal multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, most notably for progressive rock troop KingBathmat. He has released seven long players since 2003, but the acoustic long-player, Unearth (March 2014) marked his first release under his own name.  Stay Away From The Dark from that long-player is a study in acoustic-based progressive rock.
