Spencer Vaughn – Sweat

Note: The video is no longer available.  A force in Blues, Rock, and more, the Spencer Vaughn Band based in Edmonton Alberta seem ready to take off.  Let’s hope so!  Sweat (seen here) is from a video shoot done back in 2014, but the band has a new 2-song EP, SVB (July 2016) which promises more to come and is currently available on bandcamp.com.  Fronted by the velvety smooth vocals of Spencer Vaughn and his rhythm guitar, the Spencer Vaughn Band is still a sum of the parts; including on lead guitar, Derek Wiens, on bass,  Ali Mirzaie, on keyboards, Jazz Nipp,  and on…

We can’t understand why she has yet to become a household word in the rock n’ roll fan base. Ms. Myers was really active right up until she was picked up by Warner Music and then things got pretty quiet.  I’m…

Sinnober – Maria

Sinnober is a Danish-British three-piece, fronted by the instruments and vocals of husband and wife, Sebastian and Natalie Brice, with drummer Mike Griffiths providing additional vocals when needed. Maria is from the trio’s sophomore long-player, Little Wars (June 2016), which highlights exceptional songwriting and performances that leave the listener-at least this listener-awe struck. Starting their musical careers as a duo (Adam and Eve), Sebastian and Natalie morphed into Sinnober with the addition of Mike Griffiths, which adds a much-needed metronome to the musical creation.  Sebastian is also a male model as well…
