Kaz Simmons – For The Love of the Big L
There have been many times where a singer has flown under the radar (at least my radar) until suddenly making a big name for themselves. I’m hopeful that this is Kaz Simmons time, with the release of the wonderful long-player, Signs (October 2013). For The Love Of Big L is from Signs and highlights the blending of so many styles, vocal jazz, 70’s pop and more. Kaz Simmons loves Brazilian rhythms, and those are here too.
Late, the lead off track to Signs, features Kaz’s dancing soprano vocal, which shifts rapidly and assuredly through ever changing minor and major keys. There is so much to the nine tracks on this long-player-so much to love!
Uk songwriter, guitarist and singer, Kaz Simmons has been making vocal jazz influenced music since 2004, and it is time for you to discover her! You can find tons of information on Kaz from her web site. You can (and should) pick up her music, either digitally from her bandcamp.com site, or from Amazon or i-Tunes.
