New to Vodka, LaLaLow is an electro-pop duo from Finland that began life in 2018. The duo’s compositions tend toward the mildly psychedelic and ethereal. Sensory Deprivation (seen/heard here) is more on the latter end of the spectrum. This melody-driven piece features the divine voice of Nina Jackson (vocals, keyboards) that will hypnotize you into a feeling of simple peace. The other half of the duo, Tommi Laivamaa (guitar, bass), offers textural balance to this beautiful song.

There’s not a wealth of information out there for the duo. No website, no Twitter (at least nothing active), no Facebook. I’m hopeful that some of these are still to come. From a marketing perspective, having as many active social links available is certainly a good way to network. You can find their music on Soundcloud, Spotify, and a few tracks on YouTube, and I highly encourage you to go listen-particularly on Spotify – where they will get at least some revenue from the listen. You can also find the duo on Instagram. They are currently marketed by a highly competent marketing agency, so hopefully, some of these network holes will fill in soon.
