John and Sheila Ludgate make their home just North of the US border in Burlington, Ontario Canada, where they create wonderful picturesque folk stories with guitar (John) and bass (Sheila). Together they make beautiful music. Here on Steinbeck’s Guitar from their 2009 long-player Suburban Tales, they tell the story about a guitar player which pulls the sadness from those around by telling stories from afar. The video tends to highlight the sadness around us and how music heals.
