Big Big Train – Meadowland

Dedicated to the memory of John Wetton, co-founder of the band Asia and member of King Crimson, who passed away in January of this year from colon cancer, Meadowland is an absolutely beautiful ballad from progressive rock aficionado’s Big Big Train, a Vodka favorite. Meadowland appears on the new long-player, Grimspound (April 2017).  We haven’t been shy about our praise for Big Big Train.      Telling The Bees is from Big Big Train’s last long-player, Folklore (May 2016), and is the final track on that great LP. She deserves it! We have followed her since the wonderful History Eraser posted over 3 years ago-from her singles, to her EPs and even her duet work. Her humor and edgy guitar work make her unique in the indie-rock field and who better to win a Grammy for Best New Artist?  We will see how the voting ends up in 2016, but let’s hope she…

Big Big Train – Wassail

Starting July off with a bang are progressive rock greats Big Big Train and their latest EP, Wassail, which was released last month (June 2015). Here is the video for the title track. Go buy the EP and listen! Big Big Train is not new to Vodka, making their first appearance a little over a year ago with Make Some Noise. But that is just because that is when Vodka discovered Big Big Train, not because they are new to the music scene….
