The Black Feathers – Holy Water

The Black Feathers have been a Vodka favorite for a while now, and if you have not as yet added them to your collection, it is high time that you did. Before our look into Holy Water (September 2017), here’s a look back:

You Will Be Mine – Posted May 2013

All For You – posted May 2016

Enter Holy Water, a single released after a performance in the chapel of a rehab facility in Nashville, TN. Inspired by the visit, the performance and the fact that Ray Hughes (guitar/vocals) was celebrating six years of sobriety, with very personal knowledge of the precipice that one can fall over in an addiction spiral, it is a touching and heart-wrenching song with a video that provides ample reference for the lyrics.

For now, Holy Water is only available via this video, but it is fair to assume that any new long-player from this great duo will include it. Let’s hope so!

You can find more information on The Black Feathers by visiting their website, which includes all of the purchase and social links you could possibly need. Pick up some music from this excellent folk duo!
