I should preface this post in that the song, Bribing The Reaper is from Tim Hassall’s 2010 long-player, Oh Restless Heart. The video is brand new (May 2013). Tim Hassall is a singer, songwriter and an alternative artist in the strictest sense of the word, borrowing from the world-wide influences that were his childhood and early adult years. You can hear these influences on Bribing The Reaper, which includes guitar and banjo.  This is a great, beat-poet (spoken word) style folk tune, with elements of pop and world. 

Lyrically, Tim Hassall’s words echo life experiences or experiences of others. Oh Restless Heart is full of delightful folk, alt-folk gems with plenty of rock and pop flavors as well.
